REVIEW: THE ESCAPE ROOM BY MEGAN GOLDIN

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

What it is about
Vincent, Jules, Sylvie and Sam are Wall Street brokers who are invited to do a escape room design for team building purposes in an elevator but it soon turns deadly. It becomes clear that it has something to do with Sara Hall who was once a member of their team.

POV- third person from the four and first person from Sara

HEA/HFN- yes and no (read spoilers for more information)

Funny parts- no

Sad parts- yes

Trigger warning- death, murder, death of a loved one

Realistic scale- 2/5

Pick this up if- You want an intriguing thriller. You want something fast paced. You like the escape rooms. You like dual timelines. You like smart and conniving main characters.

Don’t pick this up if- You don’t like one dimensional villains. You hate it when all the questions aren’t answered in the end. You hate it when there aren’t any crazy plot twists.

Pages- 368

Narrated by- January LaVoy, Ramon De Ocampo
Length- 10 hrs and 44 mins
