What it is about
Eleanor swallowed a boy when she was a young so she was sent to boarding school. It’s 8 years later and after an incident at there she is returning home to her relatives who are savages. 

POV- first person from Eleanor 

Happy ending- mostly

Funny parts- some 

Sad parts- some

Scary level- 3/5

Gore- 3/5

Trigger warning- death, guilt, grief

Realistic scale- 0/5

Pick this up if
You want a horror book with a lot of weird elements. You like an interesting family dynamic. You want a story about a girl discovering her powers. You want to read about strange creatures. You like it when characters have unusual powers. You want something scary. You like an underlying mystery plot line. You want something fast paced with high stakes. 

Don’t pick this up if
You hate it when everything is not explained properly. You don’t want something dark with cruel and unlikeable characters. You want a clean, unambiguous ending. 

Caution- It is extremely dark for a YA.
