Pick this up if
You like angst and drama. You like a selfless hero. You like it when the characters’ families play matchmaker. You enjoy Penny Reid’s writing style (I love her quirky writing style but I acknowledge that it’s not everyone’s thing). You enjoy a good family dynamic.
Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like it when all the characters problems are solved too easily. You don’t like quirky main characters. You don’t want something sad and angsty.
All the books in the series builds up to this one. Even though the author says you don’t need to read them but in my opinion, you absolutely need to read them.
Audiobook- 10h 55m

I get asked how I read so many books. This is how I do it:
Kindle Unlimited (definitely worth it for romance readers)
Audible (2 free audiobooks for your first month); I have the Audible Premium Plus with 2 credits a month
Prime membership allows me to get new books at my doorstep fast (get the first month free). I have Prime Student which comes with a 6 month free trial.
I also had Audible Escape but it got cancelled 😦
But Audible Plus is supposed to have a lot of books across all genres
