What’s it about
Lincoln and Whitney met in a bar and they sleep together, the next morning they realise they belong to the two rival families in the town. They have a secret relationship and one day Whitney marries another man and leaves the town. It’s ten years later, Whitney has moved back to town and Lincoln is determined to get answers. 

POV- dual first person and chapters are split between past and present

HEA/HFN- no, it has cliffhanger

Super insecure character- yes, about her family background 

Trigger warning- drug overdose

You like a forbidden love story. You like an alpha, dominating hero. You like a second chance romance. You like hate to love elements. You like something hot and steamy. You like to switch between time lines. 

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like unrealistic things in books. You don’t like it when what could be one stand-alone is split into three books. You don’t like slut shaming in your books.
