Raina is a graduate student and she is having an affair with her college advisor. He borrowed money from her and shows no sign of returning it. He texts her for a meeting but she arrives at the college to find that he had been murdered.

Sad parts- some

Trigger warning- murder 

Realistic scale- 1/5

Pick this up if
You want a cute, cozy mystery. You like morally grey main characters. You like a funny, sassy grandmother. You want Asian representation in your cozy mysteries. 

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like annoying main characters. You hate it when all of the story is resolved in the first book.
