REVIEW: THE SOUL MATE BY KENDALL RYAN

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Insta-love- YES

Cheating- no

Super insecure character- no

Trigger warning- no

Pick this up if
You want a short, cute and funny book. You don’t mind insta-love or the surprise pregnancy trope. You want something hot and sexy.

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t want something predictable and forgettable. You don’t like it when all of the characters’ problems are solved too easily.

It wasn’t bad and I finished it in less than 2 hours but I’ve come to expect a lot more from this author and it wasn’t my favourite. It probably has more to do with my aversion to insta-love than the actual plot. I liked how they met again and a laughed out loud at some parts. The premise was interesting and quite dissimilar to others with the same trope.

Pages- 302

Audiobook- 5h 7m
Narrators- Jeremy York and Ava Erikson
