What’s it about
One night, when returning home from a terrible date Catherine finds a car wreck and manages to save one of the passengers. The passenger turns out to be Brett, a famous hockey player. Catherine was rebellious as a teenager and doesn’t want any attention from this. 

POV- Catherine’s POV

HEA/HFN- yes

Funny parts- not really 

Sad parts- a lot

Love triangle- somewhat 

Insta-love- yes

Cheating- no

Super insecure character- yes, about her past

Trigger warning- car accident 

Realistic scale- 2/5

Pick this up if
You want a slow burn. You want a single mom romance. You like it when the main characters have a tragic past. You want a small town romance. 

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t want something predictable. You think it is a sports romance, it is not one (he was injured for most of the book).
