on the first read i gave it 2 stars. I guess you have to be prepared going into it to like something like this
What it is about
Sadie’s husband Nathan has been pulling away from her for a month. Finn moves into the apartment next door and gives Sadie the attention she was starving for.
POV- Sadie’s first person
HEA/HFN- depends on who you were rooting for
Funny parts- not really
Sad parts- a lot
Love triangle- YES!
Insta-love- kind of
Cheating- A LOT
Super insecure character- no
Trigger warning- cheating
Realistic scale- 1/5 (because she has 2 amazing men madly in love with her while the some of us can’t even find one semi decent man to be slightly into us)
Pick this up if
You want something raw and kind of frustrating. You like a good love triangle. You like patient and loving heroes (both of the heroes were). You want something hot. You like a lot of angst and drama.
Don’t pick this up if
You hate cheaters and stories with cheater. You don’t like self centred main characters. You don’t like it when characters don’t feel guilt for cheating. You don’t like it when the characters get a happily ever after way too easily.
Audiobook- 12h 16m
Narrators- Andi Arndt
