Lord runs a pawn shop and Elle walks in one day and decides to start woking there. Elle is Lord’s brother’s girlfriend’s best friend and she has a reason she wants to work there. 

POV- dual first person 

HEA/HFN- yes

Funny parts- some

Sad parts- yes

Love triangle- no

Insta-love- it doesn’t feel instant because they declare their love towards the end but timeline wise it’s fast

Cheating- no 

Super insecure character- no, she is the opposite of insecure

Trigger warning- murder, domestic violence (h’s mom), drugs 

Realistic scale- 2/5

Pick this up if
You’re looking for something hot and steamy. You like banter. You like a hint of mystery to go with your romance. You want want an alpha and dominating heroes. 

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like possessive heroes. You don’t like erotica.
