REVIEW: GET EVEN BY GRETCHEN MCNEIL

Rating: 3 out of 5.

What it is about
Four students at a private school forms a secret society at their school to get revenge at the bullies. Kitty, Bree, Margot and Olivia are never seen together at school so their group, Don’t Get Mad (DGM), are never discovered. But when the new kid is murdered and all evidence points to DGM, they need to find the murderer before they are arrested.

POV-  third person from way too many people

Happy ending- no, major cliffhanger

Funny parts- some

Sad parts- a lot and a lot of frustrating parts

Realistic scale- 0/5

Trigger warning- murder, suicide, body shaming

Pick this up if
You want a Pretty Little Liars style of mystery where an anonymous person is sending them notes. You like drama and a lot of twists and turns. You like romance with your mystery. You like diversity in your books.

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like a lot of characters and point of views. You don’t like annoying and downright cartoonish authority figures. You don’t like cliffhangers. You are not into unrealistic premises.

Pages- 320

Audiobook- 9h 55m
