REVIEW: THE GUEST LIST BY LUCY FOLEY

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What it is about
Jules and William are having their wedding at a remote island in Ireland. Olivia, the bridesmaid and Jules’s sister, is going through something herself. Jules’s best friend’s wife, Hannah feels left out in the group. And Aoife is the wedding planner. Johnno is the groom’s best friend and he has something very dark in his past.

POV- first person from Jules, Olivia, Aoife, Johnno and a few from William

Happy ending- open ended

Funny parts- not really

Sad parts- a lot

Realistic scale- 2/5

Trigger warning- self harm, revenge porn, suicide, eating disorder

Pick this up if
You like whodunit type of mysteries. You are into British books with abhorrent main characters. You like a good slow burn mystery. You don’t like it when characters act immature for their age.

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like multiple point of views and alternating timelines. You don’t like a slow start to your books.

Pages- 320

Audiobook- 9h 54m
Narrators- Jot Davis, Chloe Massey, Olivia Dawd, Aoife McMahon, Sarah Ovens, Rich Keeble

I recommend the audiobook over the physical one because there are a lot of point of views and jumps in times.
