Pick this up if
You want a romance with a side of mystery. You want a gripping romance where you’re constantly wondering what happened in the past and what will happen later. You want an emotional hard hitting books.
Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like heroines who gets herself into trouble a lot but somehow everything still work out for her. It’s very different from her Ten Tiny Breaths series so if you get into it to expect something similar, you’ll be disappointed. You don’t like books in which characters have amnesia. You don’t like unlikeable main characters who do questionable things.
The writing was good and I really enjoyed the dual past and present POV. I do, however, recommend this as an audiobook because the flipping back and forth was very confusing.
Narrators- Josh Goodman and Elizabeth Louise
