What’s it about
Olivia and Jace hooked up one night and Jace was going to ask Olivia out the next day when his ex informed him that she is pregnant with his child. Jace decides that marrying his ex would be better for the baby despite him having feelings for Olivia.
POV- dual first person
Funny parts- yes, a lot

Trigger warning- none
Realistic scale- 1/5
Pick this up if
You want a short, funny book with likeable characters. You want to read about an extremely cute pet raccoon and alpaca. You like it when all the characters (even the minor ones) are quirky [it might be too quirky for some]. You want a small town romance. You like silly, exaggerated, laugh out loud funny moments in books. You like it when the main characters have a lot obstacles on their way to their happily ever after. You want a misunderstood hero and a sweet heroine.
Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like the evil ex trope. You don’t want a gullible and kind of naive hero. You don’t like it when the main character believes in a lot of pseudoscience. You think the kidnapping mentioned in the blurb will be a big thing (it’s not and it comes much later in the story).
This can be read as a stand-alone even though it’s the second book in the Happy Cat series.
Audiobook- 6h 3m
Narrators- Virginia Rose, Jacob Morgan
