What’s it about
Jake is Harvard’s hockey team’s captain and which is Briar’s number one rival. Brianna is the Briar’s coach’s daughter and a journalism major. She applies for an internship but her interviewer is a huge Jake fan. She strikes a deal with Jake that he would pretend to be dating her in exchange for a real date.

Funny parts- yes (a lot of laugh out loud moments)

Sad parts- not really

Super insecure character- not really

Pick this up if
You want a cute, rom com, sports romance. You like the fake relationship trope. You want a romance where the guy chases the girl. You like a hate to love romance. You like fun banter. You like the university rivalry trope.

Don’t pick this up if
You don’t like trope-y romances. You don’t like side plots (I love them though).
